Meet Our Dentist
Dr. Paul Etchison was born in the city of Joliet, Illinois. He spent his childhood growing up in Lockport and graduated from Lockport Township High School. Continuing his education, he graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with a Bachelor of Science and a minor in chemistry. Dr. Etchison then attended the University of Illinois College of Dentistry where he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree along with a Bachelor of Science in dentistry.
He distinguished himself while in dental school with the Howard Kubacki Award for Clinical Excellence. Dr. Etchison was one of ten students chosen, based on clinical skills, to spend half of his senior year working at low-income clinics in the Chicago area instead of working in school. During this time, he completed residency in three pediatric clinics in Chicago.
Dr. Etchison has undergone advanced training in dental implants and received Fellowship in the International College of Oral Implantologists in 2013. He also received his Fellowship award in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2016. Dr. Etchison also sits on the board of the Chicago Chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry.
